Terms & Conditions – Tales of the Tods
This document is an electronic record in terms of the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules made thereunder.
These Terms & Conditions govern the use of https://talesofthetods.in/ , operated by Tales of the Tods.
By accessing or purchasing from this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
- Nature of Products
Tales of the Tods sells digital products only, including e-books and downloadable content.
Access is provided electronically via download link or WHATSAPP
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old or have parental/guardian consent to make a purchase.
3. Payments
All prices are listed in INR
Payments are processed securely through third-party payment gateways
We do not store card, UPI, or banking details
4. Delivery of Digital Products
Some products are delivered instantly. Personalized, made-to-order comics may take up to six (6) months from successful payment.
Delivery is made electronically via an online reader link, a PDF, WhatsApp, or email, at our discretion.
Failure to provide correct contact details (a valid email address and/or WhatsApp number) may result in non-delivery.

Purchased e-books are for personal use only
You may not copy, resell, redistribute, or share the content
All intellectual property rights remain with Tales of the Tods
6. No Cancellation
Once payment is completed, orders cannot be cancelled due to the digital nature of the product.
7. Limitation of Liability
We are not responsible for:
Incompatibility with your device or software
Internet or technical issues on the user’s end
Unauthorized sharing of downloaded content
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, with jurisdiction in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.

- 7. Personalization Accuracy
- Our comics are personalized: your child's name and a chosen character face are added to a stylized illustration. Character faces are artistic representations and will not be an exact likeness of your child; minor variations in appearance, colour, and name placement are normal and are not defects. We reproduce the name and face selection exactly as entered at checkout, so errors in the details you provide are the customer's responsibility. If the name or face is missing, incorrectly swapped, or misspelled due to our error, contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and we will re-issue a corrected copy free of charge.
8. Educational Content
Our comics are children's edutainment. Any scientific, factual, or educational content is simplified for a young audience and is provided to the best of the creator's knowledge and belief. It is intended for general learning and enjoyment only, is not a substitute for a formal school curriculum or professional or expert advice, and we do not warrant that it is complete or free from error. We accept no liability for any reliance placed on the educational content of the comics.
9. Refunds
Refunds are governed by our Return, Delivery & Personalization Policy. In summary, personalized digital products are non-returnable, except where we cannot deliver a corrected copy of our error or we miss the six-month delivery limit. Where a refund is due, we process it to the original payment method within 14 working days.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these Terms excludes any rights that cannot be excluded under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
11. Governing Law
